Came across them blog hopping and they are part of a giveaway. Awesome!!!
A place for me to occasionally and randomly share my scrapbooking creations and sometimes my family life.

She scraps......
Yep, the weekend again so I got to do a couple more lo's.
This one for the Scrapping Outback Cybercrop Inspiration Challenge
This one is for Wk 3 of The Kaisercraft Saturday Sketches

And this one for the Door Hanger Challenge
This one was a glimmermist challenge. Another one that's ok but don't really love it! It's not really me. But I did get to use up a piece of pp that I normally would have handed on to someone else, knowing I would never use it!

Forgot to point out my cute buttons! Remember the giveaway on the blog I found a couple of weeks ago?? Didn't win it but got the chance to purchase some (and now some more on the way..yippee!!)
Check it out at Purple Pumpkin! It's mostly sold out again this time but I'm sure Sam is busy making the next lot already! Soooo pretty!

A weekend of scrapping...
Before school goes back in 2 sleeps! Thought I should finish the holidays being creative! Here's what I've been up to the past couple of days:
This is the weekend challenge at Country Papercraft. Need to use the lyrics from the song "Smile". I've already used this photo of Riley but it's so cute, I did it again!

These 2 were for the mid month newsletter at Country Papercraft. Some great challenges in there and some prizes to win as well......worth checking out!
Yet another CountryPapercraft lo. This one had to be heritage. I started this lo last year on the Scrapping Cruise. It's one of Melissa Kennedy's lo's. She had 3 photos on hers but I couldn't make mine work and I wanted to do some pages for my wedding album so chose these ones of Phil and I at our wedding and my mum and dad 25 years earlier! Wanted to include Phil's mum and dad too but couldn't find the only wedding photo I have of them and I had a deadline....maybe later! I've added more distressing and bling and rubons so it's not exactly the same as MK's (not that that would be a bad thing!)
Have been playing along this weekend at a Cybercrop at Scrappingoutback
Have managed to finish a few lo's already, but I have the rest of the week to finish which will be handy.
These 2 are for an Australian Themed Challenge to celebrate the launch of the new Scrapbook Ideas Magazine which launched yesterday.
And a door hanger challenge also
Phew...that's it for now...but I am heading back out to my scrap room since it's too cold to do anything else today!
TFL!

LO Catch up
Got another lo done for Scrap The Boys. This one of youngest DS Riley. I asked him to tell me about himself and it was so cute, he stood next to me and spoke it in the third person, not "I like", but "he likes".....guess he has been reading my lo journalling for a while now and knows how I do it! lol!
And finally played along at Inspired Blueprints with sketch no 51
It's quite plain, but sometimes we need to do that!
Still perfect scrapping weather here, so off I go to do more! (Well, actually I have done more, but they are DT lo's so can't show you yet......)
Isn't this a beautiful photo? Snapped it last week at the farm trying to catch yabbies. He was a bit sick and it was cold so his eyes are all glassy and teeth jammed together to stop the chattering...so Riley!
This is my week 5 entry at scrapncraftwitht
The challenge was paper rolling which I just don't do..ever! Monochrome (also not a fave) and transparency on a lo which could be anything but square. It's a 10 week challenge and I have survived to week 5 but was going to chuck it all in when I saw this week's challenge and thought it out of my league. But that's a bad attitude, so I had a go and actually quite liked how it turned out!
Last week the theme was vintage (which I also don't do...don't know how I got into this comp!?)
I did a clock as it could be lo or OTP. Love how this turned out, but not sure it's that great in the photo. Trust be, it's really pretty IRL (even though I mounted the birdies outside the cages. I know some anal people would have cut all the bits out between the cage wires and put the birds behind! I did think about it but was scared I would stuff it up so I didn't)

Another Boy lo and a prize giveaway
Managed to get another lo done for the Scrap the Boys Challenge. No 2 DS Tyler. Still got 1 to go, might work on that today.
So here's the lo.....a bit busier than when I started out, but I still love it.

Scrap the Boys is Back!
Woo hoo! With 3 boys, Scrap the Boys is made for me so I was sad when they stopped the challenges last year. They are back this week though with some great new designers and the first challenge.
I'm hoping to do one for each of my boys, but starting with this one of my eldest, Callum.
I'm hoping to do one for each of my boys, but starting with this one of my eldest, Callum.
I did one a few years ago of Callum, so will be interesting to compare. Not the best photo of him but in the last few weeks he has got a plate and a haricut so any other photo wouldn't have been a true representation.
Also did this cute Xmas themed page, just for fun.
Yahoo! Did this one specially to fit the theme. The first time I have ever done this. I emailed it off Friday and got an email back this morning saying it had been accepted. So exciting!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I had only ever tried once before to get published and got rejected so never tried again! But I made it my goal this year to keep trying until I got published. My first email I sent off 7 photos and 2 got selected. This time it was 1 from 1!!! I could get addicted to this if the actual submission wasn't such a long process (for 1 magazine at least!)
